چکیده

Water erosion leads to the loss of soil, nutrients, organic matter, disruption soil structure, reduction moisture capacity, biodiversity, and is most significant degradation process when growing agricultural crops on sloping terrain. Soil microorganisms are basis functioning ecosystems, circulation substances, soil-forming processes formation structure. Microbiological indicators, such as numbers, microbial biomass, enzyme activity, etc., a sensitive indicator changes that have occurred in under influence anthropogenic or natural impacts. The present study abundance major groups microorganisms, applying different tillage systems maize was carried out Carbonate Black Earth, at Experimental Station for Combating Erosion, IASSPP “N. Pushkarov”, village Trastenik, Ruse, Agricultural Academy - Sofia. A field experience with corn grain, traditional anti-erosion technologies (surface vertical mulching) corn, presented. obtained results show positive applied protection number saprophytic bacteria, mold fungi, actinomycetes, nitrogen-fixing cellulose-degrading microorganisms.

Alternative Land Management Strategies and Their Impact on Soil Conservation

Soil conservation is threatened by a number of factors, namely the effects of intensive agricultural practices, the increasing pressure for food production linked to the increasing human population, the consumption patterns in developed and emerging economies, and the conversion of agriculture from the production of commodities (which is itself a goal in need of discussion) to the production of...

Adoption of Soil Conservation Technologies among Farmers in the Upper East Region of Ghana

Soil erosion is one of the most important forms of land degradation that threatens continued and sustained agricultural production in Ghana. The most severely affected areas are the three northern regions especially Upper East Region, where large tracts of land have been destroyed by water erosion leading to soil depth reduction and decline in soil fertility. This study was carried out in Talen...

Farmers’ Sustainable Strategies for Soil Conservation on Sloping Arable Lands in the Upper Yangtze River Basin, China

The Upper Yangtze River Basin comprises a densely-populated agricultural region with mountainous and hilly landforms. Intensive cultivation has been extended onto steep hillslopes, which constitute the principal source area for sediment production. Soil conservation on sloping arable lands is thus of utmost priority for persisting sustainable agricultural production and maintaining sound ecosys...
